On A New Adventure

I haven't drawn these two characters in a long time and thought it was time to put them in another picture. I experimented with certain areas like color and perspective in this piece and was pleased with the results, especially in the sky in the background.

Even More Fun In The Sun

This is a picture of a couple of characters I drew a long time ago. The summer heat inspired me to draw this picture, and I decided to try a few new things while making it, along with a new image size.

An Ocean Voyage

It's just another picture of my Mermaid character and her turtle friend. I wanted to make another portrait of them, so I created this picture. I actually tried to make this as quickly as possible to see if I could raise my overall drawing speed. I like the way it turned out.

A Bird In Each Hand

It's just another picture of my Harpy character, and a couple of the birds that she raises. They're still young and like to explore different areas, but they're still friendly to anything that they don't consider a threat. I figured I would make a portrait of her eventually, so here it is. I'm happy with the way it turned out.

Two Cats In A Tree

I felt like trying a new method of drawing, so I incorporated some of my old drawing techniques with some new ones and decided to have fun creating this picture. It's my catgirl character, and her cat sitting in a tree during a nice day.

A Winning Combination

I drew this picture in celebration of Easter. The name of the picture has a double meaning with the cards and the addition of the rabbit. The Blackjack Bunny is also a skilled magician who loves being in the spotlight, and has a pet rabbit. Although her magic is impressive, she still wins her card games fair and square. She also has a new shiny outfit for the holiday. It may be a little late for Easter, but it was still fun to draw.

Another Day In A Pirate's Life

This is a sequel to a picture I made called "A Pirate's Life". I haven't drawn my pirate character in a really long time, so I thought I would make a new picture of her. She's holding some treasure in one hand, and a sword in the other hand just in case someone thinks of taking her bounty. I played with perspective in this picture and experimented with other things until I got the desired result.

Here's Looking At You

I decided to try drawing a portrait of one of my characters in my gallery, and choose to use different techniques in rendering this picture. I also played with lighting and shadows a little more than usual to give the picture a different feel than most of my previous work.

The Start Of A New Adventure

This is a picture of a character I created a long time ago. I decided to redraw him and give him a dog. Most of this picture was an experiment, such as the textures in the background, the colors in the sky, and the wind effects on the entire area, including the character's clothes. I like the way this picture turned out and I will draw these characters again sometime.

Game, Set, And Match

This picture is a sequel to an old drawing I made a long time ago called "Tennis Anyone". I always wanted to draw this character again, and decided that in this version to add some movement to the girl. She's an excellent tennis player, and is about to make a powerful comeback swing in hopes of winning her match. This drawing was fun to make and I like the way this picture turned out.

The Queen Of The Hive

This is a character I created a while ago. She is a bee queen, and her design changed greatly from what I originally thought of as I made this picture. I'm happy with the way that the bright colors compliment the picture, as the daytime shines in the windows behind her since bees are seen more during the day. I like this picture, and I plan to put her in a future drawing.

Into The Spider's Nest

This is a picture of a character I created I while ago. She is a spider queen, specifically a black widow, beautiful, but dangerous. I made this drawing with lots of dark colors for the background to compliment the lighter ones in the foreground, and it worked well with this piece, because spiders like dark areas. I like the way this turned out, and I will draw her again in a later picture.

A New Year In A New Town

This picture is based of an old drawing I made called "Samurai By Moonlight" a long time ago. I like the character, but decided to emphasize the background in this version. His dog is a new feature as well. I liked the colors I chose in honor of the Winter Solstice, or the beginning of winter. I like the way this picture turned out, and plan to draw these characters again.

Let's Go And See The World

This is a picture I made of a young girl and her pet squirrel going to explore the world. She's a pilot and a mechanic who has a small plane which I will draw later. The color scheme was chosen in honor of the Autumnal Equinox, or the beginning of fall. She has her supplies and tools in her backpack which doubles as a parachute, and her carrying bag around her shoulder. I plan to draw these characters again.

Too Hot To Handle

This is a character from a picture I made called "Fire Ball" a while back in honor of the Summer Solstice, or the beginning of summer. I liked his design, and kept his pose similar to the original drawing. I usually don't work with such thick lines, but I like the line variation and the style used.

Flower Power

This picture is a of a character in a previous piece I made called "Flower Girl" which I really liked. I thought her design was cute, and decided to draw her again in honor of the Vernal Equinox, or the beginning of spring. Once again, I did this drawing straight on the computer without a previous sketch. I'm happy with the way it turned out.

Polar Paradise

This drawing was inspired by a picture I drew before called "Polar Pals" that I wanted to remake. In this version, the white male bear has a Santa hat and the pink female bear has blue eyes. I thought this would be appropriate for this time of the year. I'm happy with the way this turned out.

Flying Without Wings

This is a character design for a robot I came up for a while back. I wanted to try adding some perspective to this drawing, and it took a while before I was satisfied. The light behind him is part of a small anti-gravity field that shines when he flies. It was fun drawing this picture.

Another Day, Another Parasol

This drawing was inspired by my last drawing of a parasol girl, and I decided to make another one of a anthropomorphic vixen, or female fox holding a parasol. This design was completely new, and this was my first time drawing a character with a braid in their hair. I like the way she turned out. I'm glad the drawing turned out nice.

Heart And Parasol

This drawing is a remake of an old drawing called "Parasol Girl", which had an anthropomorphic vixen or female fox holding a parasol. I really liked the drawing and decided to make a new version. I experimented with color tones and shading techniques when I made this. I liked the way it turned out.
